Educational institution name: Separate Structural Unit «Professional Сollege of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding».
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 24, 2024 No. 79 “On the reorganization of the V. O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv National University”, the VSP “Professional College of the V. O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv National University” has been reorganized.
From January 1, 2025, the educational institution carries out educational activities in accordance with the Regulations on the Separate Structural Unit “Professional College of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding”, approved by the order of the rector of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding dated December 16, 2024 No. 324;
Since its establishment to this day, the Separated Structural Unit “Professional College of the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University” has undergone a number of positive changes. The educational institution was established as a structural unit of the V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv State University in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the rector of the university on the basis of the Mykolaiv Technical School of the I.I. Mechnikov Odessa National University (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 31 dated 01.22.2009 “On the Liquidation of the Mykolaiv Educational and Scientific Institute and the Mykolaiv Technical School of the I.I. Mechnikov ONU”), the legal successor of which it is, since July 01, 2009 with the following name “Technical School of the V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv State University”.
In connection with the granting of the V.O. Sukhomlynsky National Status (Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 861 dated 08/21/2010 “On Granting V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv State University National Status” and Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 09/15/2010 No. 876 “On Measures Related to the Implementation of the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 08/21/2010 No. 861”), since September 2010, in accordance with the order of the rector of the university, the Technical School of V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv State University acquired the status of the Technical School of V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv National University, and from September 1, 2011, in accordance with the order of the rector, it became the College of V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv National University. Sukhomlynsky (order No. 130 dated 08/31/2011 “On changing the name of the V.O. Sukhomlynsky Technical School of Mykolaiv National University to the College of V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv National University”) and on the basis of the order of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine it was renamed to the Separated Structural Unit “Professional College of V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv National University” (order No. 594 dated 05/05/2020 “On renaming the separate structural unit of V.O. Sukhomlynsky Mykolaiv National University).
The College carries out educational activities within the system of professional pre-higher education and is authorized, in accordance with its license, to provide professional pre-higher education based on: basic secondary education, specialized secondary education (regardless of the acquired profile), vocational (vocational-technical) education, professional pre-higher education, or higher education.
Individuals obtaining professional pre-higher education based on basic secondary education are required to simultaneously complete the educational program of specialized secondary education with a professional focus.
Students admitted to the professional college on the basis of basic general secondary education simultaneously study under the educational and professional programs for the training of a professional junior bachelor and the educational program of complete general secondary education.
Individuals who have completed the program of complete general secondary education are awarded certificates of complete general secondary education.
Individuals studying under the educational and professional programs of the professional junior bachelor are awarded certificates confirming the qualification obtained, in accordance with the license.
The training of professional junior bachelors is carried out according to educational and professional programs in accordance with the fields of knowledge and specialties for which higher education professionals are trained.
